The Municipal council is Consistent of 11 members elected On 13/5/2017 Under the leadership of Mr.Rafat Jwabrah who was nominated for the municipal elections when he was still prisoner in the Israeli prisons ,where he spent 15 years behind the prison bars and he won the elections as a mayor also when he still a prisoner. Mr.Rafat Jwabrah began his duties as a Doha mayor on 1/1/2018.
